Stewart-Watson Farm LLC grows specialty gourmet mushrooms (Blue, White, Pink, King and Black Trumpet Oyster mushrooms, as well as Lion’s Mane and Chestnut mushrooms) in our unique mushroom growing farm. We use “Master Mix” substrate sourced from Wisconsin and Iowa, highest quality mycelium from Maine, commercial autoclaves, ultrasonic misters, and high-tech parameter gauges controlling humidity, temperature, and Co2 PPM limits. The results are gourmet mushrooms which have received rave reviews from customers in our local area supermarkets, specialty organic produce stores, farmer’s markets, and several high-end restaurants. Customers who know the difference between run-of-the-mill mass produced mushrooms, and high-end specialty gourmet mushrooms prefer us to any competition. We are a local start-up farm intent on producing the highest quality gourmet mushrooms possible-and we are achieving our goal every day! We utilize "Master Mix" from MushroomMediaonline.com - (sourced from Wisconsin & Iowa) which is a blend of 50% soy & 50% oak pelletized, which we then rehydrate via our auto-bagging device utilizing the electronically controlled water system. These pellets serve as our growth medium (substrate.) Our spawn is sourced from NorthSpore out of Portland, Maine.
