About the Vendor

A small, family owned farm with a variety of berries: Boysen berries, marion berries, logan berries, tayberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries (red, yellow, champagne), 8 types strawberries, cherries, plums, peaches. Berries are grown in a sustainable practice with GAP certification (Good Agricultural Practices). Farming is a way of life. We would like to have the community enjoy the fruits that we carefully grow with passion.

Weed Management:

Strawberries: straw tossed between rows and plants. Helps suppress weeds and keeps the fruit cleaner. **Also, raised beds with black plastic mulch to keep the fruit off the ground. The rest of the berries are not affected by weeds and if so, then mechanical or hand methods proceed. The practice of low tunnels helps with pest and weed problems.
